The city of Varese has written unforgettable pages in cycling history, starting with the legendary exploits of Alfredo Binda, multiple winner of the Giro d’Italia and three-time World Champion. Prestigious events have been staged here and continue to bring great champions to the area, from the World Cycling Championships held in 2008, won by Alessandro Ballan, to the prestigious Tre Valli Varesine UCI ProSeries race, which attracts top international riders every October.
