The Società Ciclistica Alfredo Binda
The Società Ciclistica Alfredo Binda, a non-profit amateur sports association, was established on January 22, 1929. It all began at the Caffè Sport on Viale Aguggiari in Varese, thanks to the understanding between the great dragger of Varese cycling, Antonio “Togn” Ambrosetti, and three-time World Champion Alfredo Binda.
The social colors are white and red, and the jersey bears the name S.C.BINDA – VARESE on the front. The white-and-red team has always garnered the favor of cycling fans in the Varese area so much so that it reached 644 full members in 1939.
